# What are the necessary conditions for ABC analysis?

ABC analysis allows you to study a large qty of products when you can not visually determine which product fell into groups: A, B, and C.

For a small qty of products (up to 15 items), this grouping can be done without the use of special calculations. Therefore, this analysis is informative only for a significant qty of products.
