# What is the purpose of the "Set password" switch in the "Create new user" panel?

The **"Set Password" **switch, which appears when a user is created in the pop-up panel, allows the administrator to obtain the user's initial password and reset it manually.

This ability avoids technical difficulties when interacting with new users.
