# Why don't BES solutions work on a Macbook?

The reasons for this are:

* plug-ins are enabled and prevent solutions from working.
* uses a browser that does not support solutions.

To correct the situation you need:

* disable plug-ins and update the page to use the keyboard shortcut: **Shift + Cmd + r.**
* open solutions in Google Chrome or use Safari for all solutions except **BI**.
