How can you add ВI-new?
In order for the user to have access to the BI NEW solution, the administrator must perform the following steps:
To edit a role, click three vertical dots on the left next to the role name and select "Edit role" from the list.
Clicking "Edit Role" opens a pop-up panel that requires:
"Allowed solutions" field - add the solution "BI NEW", checking the checkbox next to it on the pop-up panel.
"Dimensions" field - check the boxes for those sections that will be available to users with this role.
For example, if you restrict access to the "Categories" section, users:
reports with the key section "Categories" will not be displayed;
other categories will not be displayed in other reports when you expand dimensions;
the Category filter will not be available on all BES solutions.
"Allowed functional of solutions" field - check the box "Analytical reports" and click on ">" to transfer the chosen functionalities in the group "Selected".
Note! To make the dashboard functionality available to the user in BI NEW, check the following check boxes:
Dashboards sharing
Dashboards editing
Custom dashboards
Note! Report accesses are only for the previous version of BI and don’t apply to BI NEW.
To do this, simply click on the "Apply" button in the "Edit role” panel.
After saving the changes, all users with this role will have access to the BI NEW solution and its functionalities.
Step 1: Go to the Admin Panel solution on the Roles page.
Step 2: Select the role and edit it.
